Here at Southwestern Baptist, children and families are very important to us! We believe our role in your child’s life is a partnership with families exemplifying what it means to be a follower of Jesus Christ. We strive to provide a safe and fun environment for our children to grow in the knowledge and love of Jesus!

Sundays
- 9:30 AM — Sunday School
Sunday School classes are available for all ages, providing opportunities to study God’s Word and build meaningful relationships in a welcoming environment. - 10:45 AM — Worship Service
Come together with us for a time of worship, biblical teaching, prayer, and fellowship.- Nursery: Babies through 4 years old
- Children’s Church: 5-year-olds through 3rd grade
- Sunday Curriculum: We are currently using The Gospel Project, a Christ-centered curriculum designed to help children see how the whole Bible points to the gospel and God’s plan of redemption.
Wednesdays
- 7:00 PM — Mid-Week Worship
Join us on Wednesday evenings for a time of worship and spiritual growth in the middle of the week.- Nursery: Babies through 2 years old
- Mission Friends: 3-year-olds through Kindergarten
- Explorers: 1st through 6th grade
- Kids’ Choir: Mission Friends and Explorers begin the evening together with Kids’ Choir from 7:00–7:15 PM. After choir, children are dismissed to their regular Wednesday night classes.
Ongoing Events & Opportunities
There’s always something happening at our church! Throughout the year, we offer a variety of events and opportunities designed to help individuals and families connect, grow, serve, and build lasting relationships.
- Family Events
- Join us throughout the year for special family events designed to bring families together for fun, fellowship, and meaningful connections.
- Preschool Playdates
- Our Preschool Playdate meets on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday (beginning September 9) of each month at 10:00 a.m. and is a wonderful place for children to play, learn, and build friendships in a Christ-centered environment.
- Each playdate includes:
- Music and movement
- Simple crafts and hands-on activities
- Free play and time to make new friends
- An age-appropriate Bible lesson
- Homeschool Co-Ops
- We'd love for you to join us for our bi-monthly Co-Op, meeting on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month at 10:00 beginning September 3rd!
- Each gathering is designed to encourage learning, fellowship, and spiritual growth in a fun and engaging environment. Together, we'll:
- Explore a variety of exciting topics throughout the year
- Participate in hands-on learning activities and projects
- Spend time studying God's Word and growing together through Bible study
- Vacation Bible School
- Each year, Vacation Bible School (VBS) is a special week filled with Bible teaching, worship, games, activities, and fun as children learn more about God and His Word.

- We believe everyone has a place in serving others. Throughout the year, we provide mission opportunities for individuals and families to serve our church, our community, and people around the world.
