The Senior Adult Ministry exists to provide opportunities for our 55+ membership to grow spirtitually, mentally and socially. We try to plan short trips (up to 2 hours) about one time a quarter so we can experience a variety of outings. Recognizing that some may not be able to do that, we also have some events close by as in our recent "banna-split" evening at the pavilion. Some of our recent trips have been to Steel Rails Coffee House, Bush Beans Cafe' & Museum, The Farmer's Daughter, Shoney's, The Pumpkin Patch and Carson Springs.
Plans are in the works for guest speakers on topics of interest to seniors. These will be in our fellowship hall and will offer a simple meal (soup, salad,etc). We have fun and grow in our relationships to one another as well as our Christian faith journey. Join us and bring a friend! Speak to one of us if you have suggestions.
